Stage of life: Role on

Alex Oberheide, an aspiring actor seen here in the play Spike Heels, originally was recruited to play soccer at UIndy. He loved the challenge of performing on both field and stage but decided to focus on theatre his senior year. He’s glad he made that decision: he was picked to appear in the National Acting Festival at the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts. He credits his profs with teaching him all he knows about theatre and looks forward to attending the Master of Fine Arts in Acting program at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television this fall. “I’ve grown so much during my time at UIndy—it’s going to be hard to say goodbye.”
