UIndy’s pre-med program gets students ready for grad school—with time for a life

Tirzah and Austin are serious when it comes to their studies. Which is a good thing when you’re planning to go to medical school.

They chose the University of Indianapolis for their pre-med course of study, though, because of the opportunities to get involved in other activities that help round out the college experience.

Austin’s on the UIndy swim team, for example, which of course means traveling to competitions, getting up for ridiculously early practices, and learning how to manage time effectively. Learn more about Austin’s life as a student.

Tirzah, on the other hand, traveled to South America to immerse herself in an international experience. She spent five months in Trujillo, Peru, polishing her already fluent Spanish and living with a missionary family. Check out Tirzah’s journey to pre-med.
